Lana, a multimedia journalist, is the arts and entertainment editor at the Wichita Falls Times Record News. Lana is a board member of the Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra and volunteers for River Bend Nature Center's ElectriCritters. She participates in Big Brothers Big Sisters' “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” and the Susan G. Komen Foundation “Bowl for the Cure," and she volunteered for many years as small stage coordinator for the Junior League's FallsFest. Lana has three children. David, a freshman at the University of Texas at Austin, is majoring in computer science/computer engineering. Cameron, 12, is a sixth-grader at Crockett, and Liv, 9, is a fourth-grade math wiz at Crockett. Lana also has two dogs, Gunther Aurelius Khan, who eats all of the remote controls in the house, and Lord Georgie Aloysius, who has enormous Chihuahua ears.

What is #1 on your bucket list? To be the next contestant on “The Price is Right" and win a trip to Machu Picchu.

Why did you say yes to Dancing for the Stars?
“I have no idea, but I’m terrified about it, and things that scare you are sometimes good to do. Also, I love Big Brothers Big Sisters."
