Little Steps Big Futures
"Little Steps. Big Futures." is the Big Brothers Big Sisters educational initiative for Littles. We want to provide to matches the tools and resources to help Littles achieve educational success and pursue their dreams for their future.
Little Steps focuses on elementary-aged children by providing avenues for their Bigs to broaden their Little’s cultural awareness, activities for academic enrichment, and opportunities for individualized encouragement and educational advice from their Big.
Big Futures targets 7th - 12th grade Littles, as well as our Teen Bigs. Big Futures programming provides to Littles and their Bigs tools and experiences designed to help them stay in school, graduate and be prepared for college, the military or the workforce.

Individual Educational Consultations
A brief session with one of our personal Education Consultants that discusses with the Big, the Little and the Little's parents -if they wish to be involved- tips for how the Big can assist the Little in becoming more successful at school and in reaching their life goals. more…
Education and Enrichment Activities
Diverse opportunities are offered, such as college preparation workshops and a range of academic enrichment and growth activities. Bigs can view ”Matchline,” the on-line resource and calendar specifically created for those in Big Brothers Big Sisters, for a variety of free and low cost activities to enhance the educational experience of their Little. more…
Big Brothers Big Sisters offers several scholarship opportunities for graduating senior Littles (both currently and formerly matched in our program). These scholarships can be used at two- and four-year colleges/universities or at an accredited trade or technical school. more…

Littles set and achieve educational goals. Littles receive specific hands-on help to work toward their college/career dreams. College-bound Littles learn how to apply to college and how to make college affordable by applying for Big Brothers Big Sisters and other scholarship opportunities.
