Supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters

When children and teens have the influence of a caring adult, they are more likely to avoid risky behaviors and to focus on skills for a successful future. Today’s youth face a variety of challenges. Being matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister can help them navigate these challenges and reach their potential.

Invest with Big Brothers Big Sisters to Defend the Potential of our community’s youth and build a better future:

  • A Stronger Workforce

    • 97% of graduates are either enrolled in college, enlisted in the military, or employed in their first year post high school.
  • A Healthier Economy

    • Mentoring costs 100 times less than one year of youth incarceration
  • Stronger Families
    • 93% of youth report improvement or maintenance of parental trust
    • 91% of youth report a non-parent special adult
  • Bridging communities
    • Mentors report getting as much or more out of the match relationship than their mentees
