Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star (BBBS) has recently made several leadership transitions backed by BBBS Lone Star CEO, Pierce Bush, to cast new vision into its growth model across Dallas, Collin, Denton and Tarrant counties.
Senior Program Director, Jenny Harper, who has worked for BBBS for over 17 years, has been promoted to serve as Greater Dallas Market President. As market president, she will be working alongside Andrew Young Vice President of Advancement and Jamila Thomas, who joined the team as the Senior Vice President of Corporate and Community Engagement. Under her new role, Jenny Harper will ensure the BBBS Greater Dallas market continues to grow sustainability with a focus on deepening the impact of BBBS’ programs and initiatives across the area.
Jenny is thrilled for the opportunity to lead. Jenny stated “In my 17 years, I have seen mergers, good times, hard times, and thousands of incredible stories of children, families, volunteers, and schools positively impacted by Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentoring. We grew our program by more than 11% in 2018 and we are looking forward to similar growth in 2019.”
The BBBS team is more than happy to welcome the new transition to the company. Jenny is more than qualified to lead BBBS to many more years of success.
