Match Support and Partnership Specialists make regular contact to provide supervision, feedback, and ongoing support to each Big and Little relationship. Each staff member supports an average of 95 matches on their caseload. Anytime a match is unsure about what to do or how to handle a situation, their Match Support Specialist is there to help. Customized support extends the length of matches and ensures volunteers that they are making a difference.
We are committed to ensuring all children in a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring program achieve academic success. Resources and guides are available for Littles to help prepare them for their future including: how to build a resume, college application tips, career and military exploration, SAT prep, and more.
Several scholarship opportunities are made available each year for graduating senior Littles/mentees to assist with college-related expenses such as tuition, fees, books, room and board. These scholarships can be used at two and four-year colleges and universities or at accredited trade and technical schools.
