The Across the Moon Challenge, to be held October 26th, will provide an evening of music, food trucks, kid’s entertainment and the walk/run along Sikes Lake Trail from 5:00 PM-10:00 PM. All activities will take place at Sikes Lake and on the grounds of the Wichita Falls Museum of Art at MSU. Participants may register online and reserve their miles at http://bit.ly/MoonWalk19 or by calling the local office at (940) 767-2447.
This year marked the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. The local board and staff of BBBS were inspired by that collaborative achievement. For that reason, they are asking the community to answer the call and support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wichita County. With backing from area businesses, this is sure to be a well-attended and much talked about event.
